Job summary

Danieli Corporation is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work in Apple Grove, West Virginia. The technician will troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical and mechanical systems, in collaboration with maintenance personnel, while upholding safety standards.

Candidate should have 3+ years in steelmaking plant maintenance, be proficient with electrical drawings, PLCs, motors, drives, and power distribution, and be able to read hydraulic and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in industrial electrical maintenance technology.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and understand electrical/electronic components / inverters.
• Proven hands-on AC & DC motors and drives, sensors, and actuators experience.
• Proven hands-on Power distribution systems maintenance.
• Proven hands-on PLC systems building, programming, and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment with the ability to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings as well as P&ID's.

Responsibilities

• Electrician performs a wide range of tasks to ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained.
• Lead safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Conduct installation, maintenance, and modification, machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, including electrical, PLC, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
