Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to monitor and optimize electrical systems and control equipment, supporting production and safety compliance on-site in Boardman, Oregon.

The incumbent performs testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLCs, VFDs, and related equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring reliability and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Level 2 Maintenance status.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid work ethic.
• Must read and write in English; able to communicate clearly.
• Must maintain good attendance (fewer than 3 points on record).
• Must have a valid Oregon electrical license, journeyman or LME.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical systems and processes to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform regular testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and control systems and related equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues that may disrupt production and restore system performance.
• Provide training and support for staff on the operation of control systems.
