Wieland North America, Inc. in Shelbyville, KY seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment on-site. You will read blueprints, inspect electrical components, and report issues while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with strong electrical knowledge.
• 5 years experience in industrial electrical field.
• PLC and VFD experience, Siemens preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair electrical problems.
• Proficiency using multimeters and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical building repairs as necessary.
• Troubleshoot production equipment controlled by PLC controllers.
• Troubleshoot VFDs, preferably Siemens VFDs.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts and test/adjust as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and lifting equipment safely.
• Ensure safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication.
