Job summary

Silgan Containers Corp is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance professional in Deep River, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and collaborate with production teams during equipment breakdowns.

A High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment are required. Candidates must have strong knowledge of electrical systems and a commitment to safety and quality practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, including motors and drives.
• Install and maintain electrical components according to electrical codes.

Skills

Licensed electrician or equivalent experience

Electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, sensors

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
