Electrical Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair all aspects of Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery.
- Support all aspects of equipment and machinery, including PLC programming and modifications, programming of HMI’s, and servo controllers.
- Jog and reset Fanuc and Denso Robots.
- Teach / Touch up Robot positions to correct material handling paths.
- Plan and install primary and secondary controls, diagnose electrical/electronic problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test units, and make final adjustments.
- Prepare wiring diagrams to record changes.
- Perform mechanical repairs as necessary.
- Support daily continuous improvement activities.
- Enter all work completed / in progress into SAP work order system.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support production.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with Control Systems, PLC's, CNC Controls, Robots, PCs, and HMI's.
- Knowledge of prints, schematics, and equipment documentation for installation, modification, and repair of production equipment.
- Understanding of machine communications, including cables and LAN components.
- Competency in working safely in electrical control panels of various voltage levels.
- Qualified to work in electrical panels of 3-phase 480 volts and lower, with proper safety procedures and PPE, verified by a practical demonstration.
- Good computer, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Prior Robot School certification is a strong plus.
