Electrical Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot, install, and repair all aspects of Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery.
2. Troubleshoot and repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery.
3. Support all aspects of equipment and machinery, including PLC programming and modifications, programming of HMI’s, and servo controllers.
4. Jog and reset Fanuc and Denso Robots.
5. Teach / Touch up Robot positions to correct material handling paths.
6. Plan and install primary and secondary controls, diagnose electrical/electronic problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test units, and make final adjustments.
7. Prepare wiring diagrams to record changes.
8. Perform mechanical repairs as necessary.
9. Support daily continuous improvement activities.
10. Enter all work completed / in progress into SAP work order system.
11. Perform other duties as necessary to support production.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with Control Systems, PLC's, CNC Controls, Robots, PCs, and HMI's.
• Knowledge of prints, schematics, and equipment documentation for installation, modification, and repair of production equipment.
• Understanding of machine communications, including cables and LAN components.
• Competency in working safely in electrical control panels of various voltage levels.
• Qualified to work in electrical panels of 3-phase 480 volts and lower, with proper safety procedures and PPE, verified by a practical demonstration.
• Good computer, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Prior Robot School certification is a strong plus.
