Clearance Requirement: Applicants must be eligible for a Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance, including a government security investigation and U.S. Citizenship.

License/Certification Requirement: Candidates must hold a Master or Journeyman license/certification from a recognized national or state program.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment operate at peak efficiency, including planned maintenance and emergency response.
  • Serve as an expert resource, reporting to a program manager, interacting with onsite operations and vendors, maintaining >99.999% uptime for mission-critical systems.
  • Administer and oversee junior technicians and contractors for electrical duties.
  • Analyze system requirements, install new units, and modify existing systems following safety and industry standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on electronic and electrical systems, including data center equipment.
  • Conduct routine facility walk-throughs, monitor site BAS, and document parameters to identify discrepancies.
  • Manage emergency mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, generators, UPS, and fire safety.
  • Procure materials, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate vendor activities for maintenance and repairs.
  • Develop and review maintenance procedures, logs, and reliability reports.
  • Train junior staff on electrical systems and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years relevant experience with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Eligible for Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Licensed or certified at Master or Journeyman level.
Candidate Expectations
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and safety documents.
  • Organize and schedule maintenance activities adhering to codes and regulations.
  • Operate emergency power systems and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of building automation systems.
  • Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and perform physical tasks.
