Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Electrician Maintenance at River Valley Ingredients in Cuthbert, GA. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems and production machinery, with a base pay range of $22.90 to $32.75 per hour, depending on experience.

The position supports plant operations with preventive maintenance and rapid response to production needs. The Electrician will follow Tyson safety policies, work 1st shift, and participate in training to uphold safety,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year of industrial electrical maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to complete Tyson Foods electrical assessments and training.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility.
• Diagnose and repair motors, motor controls, drives, relays, contactors, transformers, panels, and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Test electrical equipment using meters and instrumentation.
