Job summary

Tyson Foods in River Valley Ingredients, Cuthbert, GA is seeking a Maintenance Generalist MG01 to MG08 for the 1st shift. The role involves general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across the plant, with boiler duties and adherence to Tyson safety policies.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, at least 1 year of manufacturing maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have 6 months of work history with one employer within the past 12 months.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work throughout the plant following safety policies.
• Use basic hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Read and follow maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Operate gas or hydraulic equipment and lifts when certified, monitor boilers and perform boiler testing.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and quality standards while performing duties.
