Polyplex USA LLC in Decatur, Alabama is hiring an Electrical Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (2-2-3). The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels in a high-automation production facility.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, instrument calibration, and assisting engineers with upgrades and CAPA.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical control circuits and drives.
• Comfort with calibration and inspection of instruments and controls.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain electrical systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, and VFDs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
• Document work, assist with installations and upgrades, and support safety protocols.
