Job Description

MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our MGS Germantown team on the 12-hour shift.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician at MGS, you perform the preventative maintenance plan for equipment, including preparing, setting-up, and recalibrating molding equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a role model for safe work practices and behavior, conducting yourself professionally with safety in mind.
• Learning and mastering all necessary areas of the quality system.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on production and support equipment.
• Following preventative maintenance schedules for molding equipment.
• Preparing and setting up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Re-calibrating molding machinery per maintenance plans.
• Completing maintenance tasks and documenting each assignment.
• Providing emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Interpreting equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
• Working independently and accepting direction on tasks.
• Resolving auxiliary equipment issues as they arise.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a two-year technical college program or a four-year university program in a related field, with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic prints.
• Basic knowledge of ladder logic or PLC programming.
• Adherence to safety standards in the work environment.
