Job summary

Leggett & Platt's Cape Girardeau, MO facility is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join the team on an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. The role focuses on troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery, equipment, and structures, with experience in industrial electrical systems a plus.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and five years of industrial maintenance experience, with required exposure to 480V three-phase systems.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with 480/ three phase required.
• Experience with electrical systems preferred.
• Use, interpretation and development of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings.
• Installation and maintenance of electronic devices including flow meters, encoders, servo motors, sensors, photo eyes, etc
• Use and interpretation of architectural and mechanical prints and drawings.

The Cape Girardeau, Missouri Branch of Leggett & Platt is currently looking for an experience Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! This position will work a set 8 hour shift M-F. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and repairing plant machinery, equipment, and physical structures. Experience with industrial electrical systems a plus.

• Repairing industrial equipment

Education and Experience:

• Experience or Training in the Following Perferred:
  • Use, interpretation and development of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings
  • Installation and maintenance of electronic devices including flow meters, encoders, servo motors, sensors, photo eyes, etc
  • Use and interpretation of architectural and mechanical prints and drawings
