Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing facility in Ohio.

You will handle common equipment issues independently and collaborate with the maintenance team on more complex repairs. You will read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment, and perform preventive maintenance with accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motors, sensors, and controls
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting; PLC programming experience is a plus
• Reading schematics and using diagnostic tools required
• Welding experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills and workplace safety practices

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and use PLC diagnostics to help identify faults
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices
