Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Hiram, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing facility. You will handle common issues independently and collaborate with the maintenance team on more complex repairs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and following safety and quality procedures. Reading schematics and PLC diagnostics will support efficient repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motors, sensors, and controls.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting; PLC programming is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and use PLC diagnostics to help identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
