Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician III in Kings Mountain, NC to uphold and improve industrial equipment reliability. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, install and test equipment, and perform preventive maintenance on production lines under supervision from a lead technician.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 8 years of electrical experience with certification.

Qualifications

• Requires 8 years of electrical experience, and additional specialized training with certification.
• Must be able to communicate verbally with others.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Work in non-climate controlled environment.
• Wear protective gear including safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses and dust mask.
• Willing to work a changing shift schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, and repair faulty equipment using test equipment.
• Install, set up and test industrial equipment to ensure proper function.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facilities equipment and systems.
• Document work performed and report to supervisor.
• Mentor junior technicians to develop maintenance skills.
