Job Details
Electrical Technician – 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
We’re hiring an experienced Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on presses, ovens, motors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades.
- Build and wire control panels.
- Install and troubleshoot VFDs, motion drives, and high/low‑voltage circuits.
- Conduct PLC I/O checks; upload/download PLC/HMI programs for troubleshooting.
- Support installation and testing of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance logs.
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting
- Strong PLC and HMI knowledge
- Panel building and wiring experience
- Solid understanding of electrical safety
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs (PLC‑5, SLC, Micrologix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
- Strong AC/DC motor drive knowledge
- Journeyman license or equivalent
