Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking an experienced technician for on-site maintenance of electrical and control systems in food manufacturing. You will repair and enhance machinery, maintain documentation, and support production during shifts.

The role emphasizes wiring, PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi), HV equipment, and preventive maintenance. Travel to offsite sites occasionally; strong reading of schematics and compliance with GMP and safety standards are

Qualifications

AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
Experience with electrical/control systems installation and documentation.
Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software and配 preventive maintenance software.
Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation drawings and P&IDs.
Strong math and unit conversion skills; capable of basic troubleshooting and forms completion.

Responsibilities

Maintain current documentation for electrical/control systems.
Assist mechanics in diagnosing electrical/control issues and coordinate across shifts.
Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts as needed.
Occasionally support offsite troubleshooting and repairs.
Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on systems, including networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and HVAC.
Keep accurate work records and ensure GMP and safety compliance.
