Job summary

W&W Dairy Inc. in Monroe, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background and 5+ years of experience to support a fast-paced cheese processing facility.

This third-shift role requires hands-on repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with responsibilities including PMs, documenting tasks in the CMMS, and assisting with new equipment installation. Signing bonus offers incentive after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Familiarity with PM programs and CMMS.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safe use of power tools from 24 to 480 amps.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Good communication skills; report issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and PMs as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and facility systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC).
• Respond to maintenance calls during shifts to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment.
• Document maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts usage in the CMMS.
• Support production staff to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.
• Conduct parts runs to local suppliers; mileage reimbursement.
• Assist contractors and vendors performing specialized work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow GMPs.
