Job summary

W&W Dairy Inc. in Monroe, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment. The role requires experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The position is SECOND SHIFT with overtime, weekends, and on-call as needed. A 2,000 USD signing bonus is offered after 90 days of employment, plus mileage reimbursement for parts runs and collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Familiarity with PM programs and CMMS.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safe power tool use 24–480 amps.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Good communication skills; report issues clearly.
• English reading/writing/speaking preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and PM tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and facility systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC).
• Respond to maintenance calls during shifts to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment.
• Document maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS.
• Support production staff to ensure equipment operates safely and effectively.
• Conduct parts runs to local suppliers; mileage reimbursement.
• Assist contractors and vendors on specialized work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow GMP and safety protocols.
