Job summary
Georgia-Pacific in Darlington, SC seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and high-volume manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help improve uptime across shifts.
This full-time role involves a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights and weekends, with a $2/hr shift incentive. A high school diploma or GED plus an electrical tech degree or 5+ years as an Industrial Electrician are
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years electrical tech degree OR 5+ years as Industrial Electrician
- Experience with maintenance plans, parts procurement, and documenting work
- Experience with single and 3-phase electrical repair up to 480V
- Experience reviewing work orders and entering into CMMS
- Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, PLCs, motors
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on presses, conveyors, robots, and packaging equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and control problems per procedures
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures to improve uptime
