Job summary

West Fraser is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead a team of electricians in Fairfax, SC. You will supervise maintenance activities, ensure safety, and coordinate with area managers to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of manufacturing experience or 10 years in leadership, with strong electrical knowledge and familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs. On-site role with strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS Degree with 5+ years in manufacturing or 10 years of management experience, or equivalent mix of training and experience.
• Strong electrical fundamentals and knowledge of 3-phase power distribution.
• Experience with 480-volt power, motor controls, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Allen-Bradley products, VFDs, soft starters, and HMIs.
• Experience with ControlLogix PLC platforms and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical personnel and ensure safety/quality standards.
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prioritize issues and communicate with area managers.
• Schedule daily tasks and work with mill planners.
• Coach and evaluate direct reports; manage department costs.
• Support production to ensure quality panels at competitive cost.
