Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to provide oversight for power line maintenance, applying Safety and Construction Management Systems. This role will interpret drawings, plan and execute construction activities, and ensure safety and quality during field operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with electrical power systems in oil & gas, utility, mining, or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with power system concepts (load flow, voltage regulation, harmonics, relay coordination).
• Selection and specification of electrical systems and equipment (transformers, switchgear, relays, HV/MV).

Responsibilities

• Drawings/Standards – Interprets detail drawings and master diagrams; conceives construction logic and ensures constructability.
• Mechanical Construction – Understands typical methods for civil, structural, electrical, and piping work; applies safe construction practices.
• Inspection – Understands codes and work required to prepare for inspection.
• Lift Plans – Participates in review and development of lift plans and ensures requirements are followed.
• Project Implementation – Follows Construction processes and OMMS requirements for project delivery from design basis to turnover.
• PSSR – Guides and participates in PSSR reviews and prepares necessary paperwork.
• Planning – Develops or reviews contractor plans and refines activities.
• Safety – Applies ExxonMobil safety standards and conducts pre-task briefings and risk assessments.
