Job summary

Nova Space Solutions seeks an Electrical Maintenance Systems Engineer to provide reliable electrical engineering support for Naval Station Mayport site assets and infrastructure. You will improve system reliability, support maintenance operations, and develop preventive/predictive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, high/low voltage systems, and coordination with operations. Qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering or 10 years of related experience, CMPRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or ten years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Must obtain Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification within one year of employment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Maximo, including assets, preventive maintenance, job plans, routes, and reporting.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain the NASA badge.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement reliability engineering principles and best practices.
• Utilize Maximo to manage maintenance activities and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Develop preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, overhaul, and repair procedures for electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with NEMA standards and NEC.
• Test, troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor high-voltage and low-voltage systems, coordinate upgrades and troubleshooting.
