Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks an Electrical Maintenance Systems Engineer to support Naval Station Mayport assets and infrastructure. The role emphasizes reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and high/low voltage systems across 13.8kV and 480V equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, switching orders, and field support. A BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET) or 10+ years’ experience is required; CMPR certification within one year is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or 10+ years’ related experience.
• Must obtain CMPR certification within 1 year of employment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish reliability engineering principles per SMRP or equivalent.
• Manage maintenance activities using Maximo and support preventive/predictive programs.
• Develop procedures for electrical systems, including high/low voltage, transformers, switchgear, and motors.
