Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planning Specialist (Electrical) to plan, organize, and control a defined portion of a campus maintenance operation. The role focuses on electrical systems and involves long-term and daily scheduling, inventory control, and developing PM procedures.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility for operational needs. Responsibilities include providing direction for a section of the electrical maintenance program,

Qualifications

• 9 months training beyond high school in a relevant trade and 3 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• May require specialized training certificates for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight for a section of the electrical maintenance program.
• Maintain and enter equipment data into CMMS; develop procedures; prepare schedules.
• Develop a preventive maintenance program and maintain equipment history.
• Verify parts and assemble the planned job package with safety, labor, and material details.
