Job summary

bullmoosetube is seeking a maintenance technician to support continuous operation of the steel pipe and tube plant in Gerald, MO. You will perform mill, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, and general repair tasks to keep all units running at peak performance.

The role requires heavy lifting, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and the ability to read precision measurements. You will work with a team to meet production needs and adhere to safety and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong industrial mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read a tape measure, micrometer, calipers.
• Able to operate hand and power tools, welders, cutting torches, meters, test equipment, cranes, hoists, forklift.
• Team-oriented with good verbal skills.

SUMMARY: Understands and reinforces the Company vision of being the best producer of steel pipe and tube in North America. Responsible for all aspects of production and facility related maintenance required to keep the plant and all units operating at top level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
2. Computer literate
3. Able to score a minimum of 70% on plant maintenance test
4. Have strong industrial mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience
5. Knowledge of PLC's, motor control sensors, limit switches, and electro/mechanical systems.
6. Able to operate hand and power tools, welders, cutting torches, meters, test equipment, cranes, hoists, forklift
7. Work well in a team-based environment

REQUIREMENTS:

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Strong verbal and math skills
3. Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, calipers
4. Able to work overtime and/or various shifts
5. Able to work in an environment without climate control
