Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, switches, and electro/mechanical systems.
• Able to operate hand and power tools, welders, meters, cranes, hoists, forklift.
• Team oriented, reliable, and safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Mill maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment.
• Maintenance of building and grounds.
• HVAC maintenance.
• Electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Mechanical maintenance duties.
• Plumbing maintenance tasks.
• Welding and metal fabrication as needed.
• General repair work across facilities.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY:

Understands and reinforces the Company vision of being the best producer of steel pipe and tube in North America. Responsible for all aspects of production and facility related maintenance required to keep the plant and all units operating at top level.

Qualifications

• Ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)


• Computer literate


• Able to score a minimum of 70% on plant maintenance test


• Have strong industrial mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience


• Knowledge of PLC's, motor control sensors, limit switches, and electro/mechanical systems.


• Able to operate hand and power tools, welders, cutting torches, meters, test equipment, cranes, hoists, forklift


• Work well in a team-based environment
