Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading unionized hourly employees.
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous-improvement experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities using facts and data.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and change-management skills.
• Team-oriented with hands-on involvement and strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of electrical maintenance operations and routine plant equipment upkeep.
• Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment with risk assessments and safety procedures.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability and costs.
• Monitor performance, identify improvements, and support injury-free teamwork.
• Serve as technical resource for electrical systems and maintenance protocols.
• Apply knowledge of DCS, high-voltage, PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and data systems.
• Co-lead and develop a unionized maintenance workforce of ~22 employees.
• Support craft training and foster a continuous-learning culture.
• Partner with Production to improve machine performance and plant reliability.
• Lead change with engagement, open communication, and mutual respect.
• Ensure supervisory practices align with the collective agreement and grievances.
