Job summary

City of Phoenix is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Crew Chief to lead the electrical maintenance team across the Phoenix Convention Center facilities. You will plan repairs, coordinate with trades and contractors, and ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining accurate labor timekeeping.

The role requires supervisory experience, a strong knowledge of NFPA70E safety practices, and willingness to work a shift from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM or 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM on different days.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a skilled electrician.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the facility's electrical maintenance team.
• Identify and plan repairs to interior and exterior of the facility.
• Coordinate repair and maintenance activities with trades and contractors.
• Schedule and organize facility shutdowns of power distribution systems for preventive maintenance.
• Provide written weekly reports and maintain timekeeping accuracy.
