Job summary

Aptiv seeks an Electrical Machine Design Engineer to industrialize production launches for global internal customers. You will develop machine concepts for automated lines with robotic integration and create electrical designs, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.

Work with regional builders, support debugging and production readiness, and participate in buyoff activities. Opportunities to expand into machine code, robot programming, and process inspections.

Qualifications

• University degree in an engineering/technical discipline.
• 3+ years in automotive or electronics industry.
• 3+ years in electrical machine design.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine concepts for automated production lines with robotics.
• Create electrical machine designs, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with regional machine builders through all phases.
• Support machine debugging and production readiness at the builder site.
• Assist with buyoff activities for shipment acceptance.
• Support site installations and site debugging globally.
• Grow the role by expanding to coding, robot programming, and inspections.
