Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Electrical Machine Design & Automation Engineer to drive industrialization of new Aptiv products for global internal customers. You will develop machine concepts, design electrical systems, and collaborate with regional builders to ensure successful production launches.

Key responsibilities include supporting machine debug, coordinating buyoffs, and aiding site installations and production readiness. A degree in engineering and 3+ years in automotive/electronics are required.

Qualifications

University Degree in an Engineering/Technical discipline.
3+ years of experience in Automotive or Electronics Industry.
3+ years of experience in electrical machine design.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop machine concepts for complex automated production lines with robotic integration.
Create electrical machine designs including panel assembly prints, wiring diagrams, power distribution diagrams and BOMs.
Interface with regional machine builders through quoting, fabrication, and assembly phases.
Support machine debug at the builder's facility to make the line operational.
Assist with buyoff activities for internal customers to gain shipment acceptance.
Support Aptiv global site installations, site debug, and production readiness.
