Machina Labs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical systems for robotic manufacturing platforms, driving architecture, interfaces, and supplier relationships. You will own electrical design across the production cell and future platforms, guiding cost, schedule, compliance, and production readiness while remaining hands-on.

The ideal candidate has led electrical design of industrial machinery across multiple machines, with experience in UL/IEC compliance, EMI/EMC mitigation,

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in electrical engineering on industrial machinery, robotics, CNC, or automation.
• End-to-end ownership of electrical design across multiple machines or platforms.
• Experience setting electrical standards and leading design reviews.
• Electronic system or instrumentation design including PCBA schematics.
• 480VAC power distribution and 24VDC control experience, with safety circuits.
• Industrial network design (EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
• Fluency with electrical CAD tools and release-quality schematics.
• Engineering owner for contract electrical system builds.

Responsabilités

• Own electrical design across production cells and future platforms.
• Define architecture, interfaces, and documentation approach for reuse.
• Lead I/O, safety logic, and network architecture with controls/software teams.
• Investigate complex electrical issues and deliver root causes.
• Manage supplier relationships, releases, deviations and quality issues.
• Design and review panels for manufacturability and serviceability.
• Own compliance with UL/IEC and safety requirements.
• Set and maintain design standards, symbol libraries, and review checklists.
