Job summary

Automated Industrial Robotics Inc., headquartered in Los Angeles, USA, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for high-tech automation equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle.

You will develop schematics, BOMs, and documentation, ensure code compliance, and support manufacturing, integration, and commissioning activities. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5-10 years of electrical design experience preferred.
• Experience with automation equipment and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with NFPA 79 standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with CE and SEMI standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for custom automation equipment.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Select electrical components and develop bills of materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design and build process.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, integration, and testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and support system commissioning activities.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Identify opportunities for design improvements and process efficiencies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and company quality standards.
