Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, listen to questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Daily duties may include loading merchandise, assisting in multiple departments, and processing orders while delivering friendly, professional service. This role offers teamwork and growth opportunities within the store.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform duties as required
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or more with assistance

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to support premier customer service
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
