Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Mechanicsville, VA. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, efficient service throughout the day.

You will assist in locating merchandise, stock shelves, and process orders while ensuring customer needs are met. The role includes working across departments as needed and may involve standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or similar device.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (phones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock and replenish shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
