Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-headquartered company, is seeking an Electrical Lead to direct teams in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting industrial electrical and controls systems and sub-assemblies. You will install motor control centers, assemble control panels, run conduit, terminate power and control wiring, and install lighting and outlets.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience reading electrical drawings, and strong adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Minimum five years of related factory experience.

Responsibilities

Interpret electrical engineering drawings and communicate requirements to work teams.
Identify and report discrepancies on electrical and control drawings.
Troubleshooting of electrical and controls systems.
Ensure project schedule milestones are met.
Ensure all quality requirements are met and that required quality documentation is properly completed.
Perform coaching of the work team to ensure all cost, quality and schedule requirements are met.
Insure all employees adhere to prescribed safety program requirements.
Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
Other duties as directed by supervisor.
