Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead Industrial Electrician to lead our electrical integration team, overseeing installation, wiring, and integration of equipment within custom enclosures.

You will ensure safety and compliance with engineering drawings, NEC codes, and customer specs; guide technicians, troubleshoot issues, and keep projects on schedule. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication to mentor staff and deliver quality

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical installation experience in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and UL codes; familiarity with electrical systems and panel wiring.
• Experience with conduit bending, installation, and grounding.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for a hands-on team.
• Excellent communication and safety-conscious workmanship.
• High school diploma or equivalent; industrial electrical certification preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RIE/PEC Building or electrical racks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direction and technical support to Electrical Integration Technicians.
• Coordinate daily assignments based on project schedules and production needs.
• Lead by example in safety, quality, productivity, and workmanship.
• Train and mentor team members on electrical installation practices and Panelmatic standards.
• Inspect work, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Consult blueprints, schematics, and customer specifications to determine installation methods.
• Perform conduit bending, threading, and installation per NEC and drawings.
• Assist with onboarding, inspection readiness, and project communication.
