Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects across industrial, energy, petrochemical, refining and process manufacturing environments.

You will manage engineering, design, estimation, procurement, and execution of E-Houses, PDCs, RIEs, and related buildings, with a strong focus on MV/LV distribution and field support from proposal through commissioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience delivering electrical projects in industrial, energy, chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Proven experience leading E-House, PDC, RIE, or electrical equipment building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution systems, including switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS/DC systems.
  • Experience producing technical specifications, reviewing vendor documentation, and supporting procurement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering and execution of electrical building, E-House, RIE, and PDC projects up to 34.5kV.
  • Develop and review specifications for MV/LV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, VFDs, UPS systems, DC systems, lighting, grounding, HVAC, and fire & gas systems.
  • Produce and review electrical deliverables including single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, cable schedules, grounding plans, and interconnection drawings.
  • Support project estimating, budgeting, equipment selection, technical proposals, and schedule development.
  • Review vendor quotations, drawings, datasheets, BOMs, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, OEMs, fabricators, and third‑party consultants.
  • Perform or oversee electrical power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and motor starting analyses.
  • Support FATs, SATs, commissioning activities, field troubleshooting, and project closeout documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, maintain stakeholder communication, and ensure delivery to quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Senior Electrical Project Engineer / Electrical Lead
Energy, Industrial & Mission Critical Infrastructure Projects

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer / Electrical Lead to support and lead the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects across industrial, energy, petrochemical, refining, and process manufacturing environments.

This role will focus on the engineering, design, estimation, procurement, and execution of E-Houses, Power Distribution Centres (PDCs), Remote Instrument Enclosures (RIEs), and other electrical equipment buildings. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medium and low-voltage power distribution systems and experience managing projects from proposal stage through commissioning and site support.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience delivering electrical projects within the industrial, energy, chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Proven experience leading E-House, PDC, RIE, or electrical equipment building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution systems, including switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS/DC systems, and related equipment.
  • Experience producing technical specifications, reviewing vendor documentation, and supporting procurement activities.
  • Familiarity with electrical studies using ETAP, SKM, or similar software.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, UL, and other applicable industry standards.
  • PE licence preferred; EIT considered an advantage.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
