SMT Corp. is seeking an Electrical Lab Technician for the 1st shift in Sandy Hook, CT. You will work in a 70,000 sq. ft. facility performing electrical tests on micro/electronic components to detect counterfeits and ensure quality, following MIL-STD and AS standards as applicable.

The role includes on-the-job training, strict testing procedures, and a path for progression within the company. The position operates on an 8-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, with a half-hour lunch.

Formación

• High level of attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow repetitive testing standards and procedures.
• Experience in a manufacturing lab environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in an ESD and FOD Lab controlled environment.

Responsabilidades

• Follow electrical testing work instructions as directed by SMT Corp engineers.
• Handling electronic components into and out of test fixtures.
• Observe the results of the electrical testing.
• Sort components based upon the testing outcome.
• Report to SMT Corp engineers when problems arise during testing.
