manufacturing test facility in Sandy Hook, CT. We are seeking an Electrical Lab Technician for the first shift who will perform electrical testing of components, screen and qualify them per MIL-STD-883 and MIL-STD-750, and support production quality controls. The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in an ESD/FOD lab.

Qualifications

• The role requires a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, the ability to follow repetitive testing standards, and good eyesight.
• Experience working in a manufacturing lab environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in an ESD and FOD Lab controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow electrical testing work instructions as directed by SMT Corp engineers.
• Handle electronic components into and out of test fixtures.
• Observe the results of the electrical testing.
• Sort components based on the testing outcome.
• Report to SMT Corp engineers when problems arise during testing.
