Job summary

SMT Corp. is seeking a Test Lab Technician to inspect electronic components using advanced lab equipment and generate test reports. You will research datasheets and compare parts to specifications, handling micro components in a controlled environment.

The role requires high attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow repetitive testing standards in an ESD/FOD lab. Shift is 4pm–12:30am, Monday–Friday, with potential for growth within the lab and quality teams.

Qualifications

• The role requires a high level of attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Experience in a manufacturing lab environment is preferred.
• Light lifting up to 40 lbs and climbing ladders up to 10 ft may be required.
• Work in an ESD and FOD Lab controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake multiple forms of inspecting of electronic components.
• Use state-of-the-art test equipment in a lab environment to perform detailed inspections and generate test reports.
• Research component information to compare components with data sheet specifications
• Count and handle micro electronic components
• Work in a fast paced goal-oriented environment
