Job summary

PeoplePilot in Irvine, CA is seeking an Electrical Integration and Test Engineer to design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems. The role involves developing NI LabVIEW VIs and automated test sequences, and supporting production power and control systems on aerospace-style projects.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze circuits, read schematics, and validate hardware using oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical/electronic systems design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW, VI development, and automated test sequences.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and interconnect diagrams.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Experience supporting production lines and electrical power/control systems.
• Aerospace, avionics, or defense manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
• Develop and maintain NI LabVIEW Virtual Instruments (VIs) and automated test sequences.
• Perform hardware testing using standard electronic test equipment.
• Support production operations and maintain electrical power and control systems.
• Investigate root causes of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze analog and digital circuits and troubleshoot system issues.
• Prepare test plans, technical reports, and test results.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams.
