Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is hiring an Electrical Engineer II to design, develop, and test electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will validate systems, integrate instrumentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

The role focuses on developing instrumentation hardware, performing lab tests, and ensuring calibration accuracy while adhering to standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in electrical/electronic circuit design and testing techniques.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
• Familiarity with working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the instrumentation effort from design to de-modification through requirements development, design, lab test, integration, and test operations support.
• Plan, participate, and execute test plan development to ensure objective results are of sound quality.
• Develop, modify, and implement standard operating procedures for instrumentation hardware and system design.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and test engineers to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.
• Maintain, document, and control standards for calibration and verification of measurement equipment.
