Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Integration QC Inspector at our West Houston, TX facility. The role verifies installation quality, cable routing, termination accuracy, grounding, and compliance with drawings, BOMs, and customer specs.

You will work with Electrical Production, Engineering, and Testing to prevent nonconforming work and ensure readiness for testing and release. The position requires experience in electrical quality inspection, familiarity with e-houses, switchgear, PDUs,

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical quality inspection or related manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Familiarity with NEC, UL, NETA testing requirements where applicable
• Proficient in completing inspection travelers, NCRs, and test records
• Knowledge of torque verification and appropriate manufacturer torque specs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate discrepancies clearly

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOMs, and specs to ensure correct materials and dispositions
• Inspect switchgear, PDUs, transformers, and control panels for correct parts and wiring
• Verify wiring, gear, and labeling against schematics and schedules
• Document defects, hold nonconforming work, and initiate NCRs with evidence
• Perform and witness required electrical tests; review results and calibration of test equipment
• Ensure safety hazards are addressed and required PPE is used
• Coordinate with QC Supervisor, Electrical Production, and Engineering on issues
• Complete inspection checklists and maintain traceability to projects and drawing revisions
• Assist in final integration inspections before testing or customer release
