Job summary

Oshkosh Defense, an Oshkosh company, invites you to join the Summer 2027 Electrical Integration Engineer Intern program in Oshkosh, WI. You will work alongside Electrical Integration & V&V Engineers, gaining hands-on experience in embedded systems design and vehicle control.

You'll assist with testing, documentation, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in electrical/computer/software engineering with the ability to relocate

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical/computer/ software engineering.
Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
Willing to relocate to Oshkosh, WI for Summer 2027; relocation assistance provided for certain distances.

Responsibilities

Support electrical and software engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development.
Follow the project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production builds and provide technical assistance.
Learn vehicle troubleshooting and effective documentation skills.
Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems.
Learn and verify communication across CAN, LIN, and Ethernet networks using tools like CANoe, DET, CANalyzer, or ETAS INCA.
Log, document, and triage software defects, collaborating with developers and system engineers for resolution.
