Job summary

Rich’s, a leading food manufacturing company, seeks an E&I Technician to handle routine and emergency maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot instrumentation, calibrate sensors, and ensure uptime across the production line.

Responsibilities include reading wiring diagrams, supporting PLC/Rockwell changes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience under a journeyman electrician.
• Able to read electrical prints and troubleshoot 440/220/110 VAC and 24 VDC.
• Proficient with multimeters and Rockwell software/hardware.

Responsibilities

• Observe OSHA rules and PPE requirements.
• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, repair, calibrate instrumentation for reliability and uptime.
• Read wiring schematics for installation and repair of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC/Rockwell software and hardware; implement changes as needed.
• Repair wiring, transformers, motors, drives; ensure compliance with codes.
• Coordinate with other departments on new equipment and upgrades.
• Stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate professionally in the plant.
