Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for a local client in Spring Grove, PA. Candidates with a background as an Industrial Electrician and some instrumentation experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary:

• Under the direction of the lead craftsperson, the Electrical & Instrumentation MultiCraft Technician should be skilled in all aspects of industrial electrical and instrumentation work, including 3-phase motors up to 2300 volts, control components, pneumatic control devices, transmitters, control valves, and interfacing with PLC/DCS control systems. The technician should exemplify the client's core values of Safety and Excellence.

Role and Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards and promote a safe working environment by attending all training and safety meetings, and addressing safety concerns.
• Follow safe practices, wear protective equipment as required, and complete pre-job safety checklists.
• Work independently on routine assignments using drawings, instructions, procedures, and accepted practices.
• Provide documentation, time confirmations, and feedback upon job completion.
• Complete crew assignments and duties as required, based on job and skill requirements, ensuring safety and efficiency.
