Responsibilities

1. Perform E&I activities in a high-performance working environment on a shift basis to ensure optimal utilization of materials and manpower, maximizing production, safety, quality, and efficiency.
2. Participate in root cause failure analysis with team members and maintenance leaders for major downtime issues.
3. Work accurately with numbers, inputting correct data.
4. Utilize troubleshooting skills using the “Why-Why” tool.
5. Demonstrate technical skills such as routine maintenance and defect fixes.
6. Troubleshoot, coach, and teach operators in processing and packaging facilities.
7. Experience with programming software like Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View SE.
8. Work safely with Medium and Low Voltage equipment using proper Arc Flash PPE.
9. Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics, including P&ID’s, elementary drawings, and single-line diagrams.
10. Experience with PLC racks, input/output cards, VFDs, flowmeters, control valves, and transmitters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus two years of technical training preferred.
• 2-5 years of electrical/instrumentation experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and technical crafts.
• Ability to pass Math and electrical aptitude tests.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules for training.
• Leadership skills including conflict resolution, communication, organization, and safety mindset.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and in a team environment.

Additional Information

• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including 12-hour shifts.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Able to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment physically, including climbing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
