Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks an experienced instructor to deliver Pro Academy courses in electrical and instrumentation & controls, leading hands-on labs and safety briefings at customer sites. You will translate complex concepts into practical learning and co-develop curricula with the Senior Training Instructor.

You’ll update courseware, validate tests, and ensure alignment with NEC, OSHA, and industry standards while maintaining strong organization and communication across teams.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience training or instructing others.
  • HS/GED plus 5+ years in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
  • Bachelor's in electrical/controls or Journeyman Electrician or equivalent with PLC experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site safety briefings and guide technicians through PLC troubleshooting.
  • Develop and refine validation tests and courseware aligned with NEC and OSHA.
  • Create outlines, lectures, lab materials, and assessments for courses.

Day in the lifeYou start the morning reviewing a hands-on lab on motors and controls, then head to a customer site to lead a safety brief before guiding technicians through troubleshooting PLC inputs on a conveyor. After lunch, you refine a validation test, sync with the Senior Training Instructor on new instrumentation modules, and close the day by updating courseware to align with the latest NEC guidance.
