Job summary

Torrey Holistics in New York, NY is seeking an electro-mechanical maintenance technician to diagnose and repair production equipment, read schematics, and perform routine PMs.

You will service electrical gear, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors, install parts, and ensure downtime is minimized. A hands-on, safety-conscious mindset with forklift and LOTO familiarity is required; willingness to work occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with 24V–480V systems and three-phase power.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic instruments (multimeters, megger).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electro-mechanical problems on production equipment.
• Strip down malfunctioning assemblies, pinpoint failure modes, and install repaired or new parts.
• Carry out scheduled PM on machines, facility systems, and building components.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and fine-tune bearings, shafts, gears, and other moving parts.
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical gear—transformers, machine wiring, controls, and electronic devices.
• Install and service process piping, hydraulic circuits, and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair or replace valves, gauges, pressure regulators, and related devices.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to get machines back online with minimal downtime.
