Georgia-Pacific Corrugated in Albany, GA is seeking a motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join the Maintenance team. The role focuses on troubleshooting, calibration, and installation of electrical, instrumentation, PLC, HMI, and automation systems.

Applicants should have 5+ years of experience, strong schematic reading, and a safety-first mindset. The position offers an on-site role with a starting pay of $40+ per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Five years or more of electrical or instrument and control troubleshooting in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial controls PLCs, motor controls, valves, distribution, DC/AC motors from 24V to 480V.
• Expert level reading electrical and mechanical schematics/blueprints.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 arc flash safety and OSHA regulations.
• Experience installing, calibrating, monitoring, and maintaining HMI and DCS instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
• Use software and equipment to maintain instrumentation and PLC/DCS systems.
• Install and calibrate PLC, HMI, and DCS control instrumentation.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics for maintenance tasks.
• Operate tools to maintain motors, drives, and high/low voltage systems.
